2023 Pakistan Super League
The 2023 Pakistan Super League (also known as PSL 8 or HBL PSL 2023 for sponsorship reasons) will be the eighth season of the Pakistan Super League, a franchise Twenty20 cricket league established in 2015 by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). PCB chairman Ramiz Raja has announced plans to introduce an auction to replace the draft for the 2023 version of the tournament. The PCB is likely to increase player salary caps and introduce a hybrid auction/draft model where teams will be allowed four holdovers and four rounds. auction, with the remaining 12 players selected through the draft process.
